When in Budapest, Pay A Visit To These Two Hot Guys In Hungarian National Gallery

Magda Michalska 27 July 2016 min Read

Are you looking for a short summer romance? Go to Budapest! Two really hot guys are staying in the Hungarian National Gallery this summer:

1. Picasso- Transfigurations 1895-1972

I frankly recommend this one (just came back from the museum today, it was fabulous!). It’s a fascinating retrospective dedicated to Picasso’s different approaches to human figure over the years of his artistic practice. Learn about his lovers, political views, rivals and friends. Get to see rarely exhibited studies, sketches and tiny sculptures. You can even watch short footages of Picasso painting and speaking.
You’d better hurry and hop on the next plane. The renowned ladies’ man will be leaving soon – the exhibition lasts only until the 31st of July 2016!

2. Modigliani

If you miss your date with Picasso, you’ll have more time to reach this guy. He’ll be residing in Budapest until the 2nd of October 2016.
This exhibition does not have a general theme which allows all the unfamiliar with Modigliani to really get to know him. It smoothly introduces his biography and places his art well into context. You will be able to closely study his sculptures, sketches, portraits and nudes.
